Adult General Psychiatry
The Adult Outpatient Program provides outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment for persons 18 years of age or older utilizing telehealth. Our provider is a psychiatric nurse-practitioner who is skilled in treating persons with a wide variety of diagnoses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, anxiety disorders, sexual dysfunction, autism and ADHD, memory and cognitive impairment problems, and adjustment disorders to life stressors.
We provide psychotherapy for problems involving relationship difficulties, trouble coping with stress, trauma, problems with substance abuse, anger management issues, LGBTQ related issues.
The frequency of appointments depends on the needs of the individual, severity of symptoms, and medication management visits with the psychiatric nurse practitioner.
We implore the use of shared decision making to develop your treatment plan by collaborating with you. Your progress towards goals is assessed regularly in treatment and objectives are updated as needed.
